The Ashdown Forest is close-by providing excellent walks and is an ideal touring centre. The spectacular Beacon Golf Club is also within a few minutes walk. The south coast is only a 40 minute drive away with its lovely beach and seaside resorts, and is ideally situated for trips to London from rail stations at Crowborough (2 miles), Eridge (3 miles) or Tunbridge Wells (approx 8 miles away).
